Vision boards

I have long used vision boards in my practice to assist clients along their way towards their goals. The idea of a vision board is to create a visual reminder of what you want to manifest in your life. There are other uses, but this is the most common one. Louise Hay said “Every thought we think is creating our future.” With this in mind, vision boards give structure and intention to the use of our thoughts. One might use magazine, or personal photos, favorite sayings, affirmations, humor or any other thing that brings the desired thought to mind. Myself, I scour the internet collecting things that have some kind of meaning to me. The image below is an example of one of my current visuals.

I added the text after I found the picture. When I look at this photo, and read the text, it elicits not only a visual sense of beauty but a feeling of affirmation. This is powerful, and any text can be added to any photo to customize a vision board. The only limit is one’s own imagination.

Well, being the impatient type, I wanted to speed up this business of manifesting. I stumbled upon an idea that has allowed me to do just that.  I have put my vision board on a slide show that I watch several times a day. The best thing about it is that it is dynamic. I can switch out photos as things come up, or as they become outdated. I can also change the text as new thoughts come to mind. I can tell you that putting these electronic wings on my vision board is resulting in some astonishing experiences.
